"What is Love" Lyric Song

There's a question with so many answers
No one knows them all, no
No high powered scholar, high paid by the hour
Could come up with the answers to this complex question

What is love? I gotta know
What is love? I just gotta know
What is love? I gotta know
What is love?

Love, love
What is it, what is it?
Love, love
What is it, what is it?
Love, love
What is it, what is it?

How is that we can make mass destruction
With one single bomb?
But can't find a solution to one simple problem
That's troubled us all

Why is it that we can make smart computers
That think for themselves?
But can't make a computer to match lonely people
With one thing in common to fall in love with each other

What is love? I wanna know
What is love? Really gotta know
What is love? I wanna know
What is love?

Love, love
What is it, what is it?
Love, love
What is it, what is it?
Love, love
What is it, what is it?

Maybe one day they'll make up a word that sums up love
That won't be so complex and fits in with the rest
But for now we are stuck
With this word and no luck

What is love? I wanna know
What is love? Now somebody tell me so
What is love? I wanna know
What is love?

What is love? I want to know
What is love? Somebody, somebody tell me so
What is love? I really wanna know
What is love? I want to know it now, now

Love, love
What is it, what is it?
Love, love
What is it, what is it?
Love, love
What is it, what is it?

WHAT IS LOVE? Posted in Life by Jimmy Young

WHAT IS LOVE? Posted in Life by Jimmy Young

If there is an elusive property that is more misunderstood in this world of ours than the explosive feeling of love, then I have not yet come into contact with it.Lives are defined by it, industries are intent on manufacturing it and relationships thrive on it. Without it, emotions subside and hearts become hardened in even the most joyful of men and women.

This is the second of a series of posts on how to build a strong relationship, titled Future Love Sex Marriage and we will have a look at the misunderstood element of love.

What is it and why is it so important in relationships?

It is one of the most difficult things to define precisely because everybody has a definition of it that differs somewhat, to many it is a feeling that resides in the center of the heart whilst to others it is found in the actions and lives of those who profess it.

There is no singular one definition that men and women can agree on, lives are dedicated to finding it whilst hearts are broken over losing it so what exactly makes it such an addictive elixir that we seemingly cannot do without?

 What is Love?

Love is Not Lust

One of the most common definitions of Love resides in when you find ‘Mr. or Miss Right’, the exact moment when the heavens open up and angels rejoice at the joy and beauty standing in front of you. Surely that feeling is the closest to love that a person can feel, that incredible feeling of head-over-heels satisfaction that only happens once in a life? Well, not exactly.

That feeling is called lust and whilst exceedingly powerful, does not last and therefore is a lie. It’s pure attraction to someones outside appearance in the absence of knowing their inside personality. This is not to label it as bad, as attraction is a wonderful thing and I am incredibly joyful to be so attracted to my partner but that feeling of attraction is not the cornerstone of our relationship, rather it is the icing on the cake.

In a relationship, lust is one of if not the first feelings that a couple will feel, that intense feeling of first attraction that many relationships are founded on yet to build a strong relationship, it must be founded on more than lust.

Lust is based in selfishness, it’s not about what you can do for your partner but rather what your partner can do for you. So whilst it feels ‘right, to base yourself in such an emotion and such a passion is not only dangerous, but will in time, destroy the foundation of your relationship. This is because lust does not last, passions do not stay the same and attraction does not last a lifetime.

For these reasons, lust is not love, it is its alter-ego. It is loves shallow imitation, loves shadow if you will. It has no truth, no caring, no warmth, beauty or unity but instead has a core of selfishness and indiscriminate passion which hurts the user and betrays the used.

LustIsNotLove frt large1 What is Love?

Love is Based in Action

One of the most important features of love is action. Without action, love is an unarmed emotion. It is action that makes love one of the most powerful human movements.

Within the confines of a relationship, action not only predates love but action causes love. Make no mistake, attraction is important in a relationship but action will be the catalyst of a relationship. If you cannot act in love, the relationship will not last.

So why is action so important?

It is an important question to ask, but it is a relatively easy question to answer. When you consider that lust’s base trait is selfishness, action causes the opposite, selflessness It places the person the action is towards (i.e. your partner) above yourself and actively seeks to put them first.

We live in a world where divorce rates are high and everyone has a story involving a broken relationship, many of which were filled with loving words. I myself had such a relationship, which left me broken for many months and perhaps years. You see, words are fleeting but actions leave an imprint on a life that cannot be ignored.

Positive words and encouragement are close to the foundation of a relationship, not a day goes by that I don’t tell my partner how beautiful she is or how much I love her but without actions, those words are hollow.

If you are in a relationship in which you cannot tell that your partner loves you by their actions, then I ask you to seriously consider whether they actually love you? If you can tell your partner that you love them with your words, but cannot love them with your actions then I ask you, do you really love them?

In a relationship, almost nothing is more important than love in action.

Love is Sacrificial + Selfless

This is the hardest element of love, purely because it is the hardest to live out in everyday life.

I have thought about this exact trait many times before and have come to the conclusion that it is the absence of this trait that has lead to so many broken homes, so many broken marriages and so many broken hearts. We are not willing, as a society, to sacrifice anymore. We want everything to work out for ourselves

Sacrifice means one thing, to forfeit something that is perceived as great value in the quest or service of something even greater. In relationships, sacrifice means to weigh up everything that you desire and want and then put your partners needs above those desires and wants. An important note, a need is something that is necessary for a healthy life, this is not suggesting to become a slave to another persons desires.

For the record, this is not something that is easy and nor will it come naturally. It is something however, that when done in unison will create a bond and a unity that will not be broken easily.

In my own relationship, my partner and myself have a faith that is greater than our relationship and therefore sacrifice our own desires in order to put this faith in the center of our relationship. It is not something that comes easily, but it is the most important thing in both of our lives.

Love must become selfless for it to endure, it is only through selfless sacrifice that a relationship can last as many years as we have left on this earth. I myself am planning to only have one relationship, one marriage and one love for the rest of my life and this plan is borne out of a desire to sacrifice myself to show love in action.

It is this that will make true love endure.

What Is Love?

Many believe love is a sensation that magically generates when Mr. or Ms. Right appears. No wonder so many people are single.
A few years ago, I spoke to a group of high-schoolers about the Jewish idea of love.
"Someone define love," I said.
No response.
"Doesn't anyone want to try?" I asked.
Still no response.
"Tell you what: I'll define it, and you raise your hands if you agree. Okay?"
Nods.
"Okay. Love is that feeling you get when you meet the right person."
Every hand went up. And I thought, Oy.
This is how many people approach a relationship. Consciously or unconsciously, they believe love is a sensation (based on physical and emotional attraction) that magically, spontaneously generates when Mr. or Ms. Right appears. And just as easily, it can spontaneously degenerate when the magic "just isn't there" anymore. You fall in love, and you can fall out of it.
The key word is passivity. Erich Fromm, in his famous treatise "The Art of Loving," noted the sad consequence of this misconception: "There is hardly any activity, any enterprise, which is started with such tremendous hopes and expectations, and yet, which fails so regularly, as love." (That was back in 1956 ― chances are he'd be even more pessimistic today.)
So what is love ― real, lasting love?
Love is the attachment that results from deeply appreciating another's goodness.
Love is the result of appreciating another's goodness.
The word "goodness" may surprise you. After all, most love stories don't feature a couple enraptured with each other's ethics. ("I'm captivated by your values!" he told her passionately. "And I've never met a man with such morals!" she cooed.) But in her study of real-life successful marriages (The Good Marriage: How and Why Love Lasts), Judith Wallerstein reports that "the value these couples placed on the partner's moral qualities was an unexpected finding."
To the Jewish mind, it isn't unexpected at all. What we value most in ourselves, we value most in others. God created us to see ourselves as good (hence our need to either rationalize or regret our wrongdoings). So, too, we seek goodness in others. Nice looks, an engaging personality, intelligence, and talent (all of which count for something) may attract you, but goodness is what moves you to love.
Love is a Choice
If love comes from appreciating goodness, it needn't just happen ― you can make it happen. Love is active. You can create it. Just focus on the good in another person (and everyone has some). If you can do this easily, you'll love easily.
I was once at an intimate concert in which the performer, a deeply spiritual person, gazed warmly at his audience and said, "I want you to know, I love you all." I smiled tolerantly and thought, "Sure." Looking back, though, I realize my cynicism was misplaced. This man naturally saw the good in others, and our being there said enough about us that he could love us. Judaism actually idealizes this universal, unconditional love.
Obviously, there's a huge distance from here to the far more profound, personal love developed over the years, especially in marriage. But seeing goodness is the beginning.
By focusing on the good, you can love almost anyone.
Susan learned about this foundation of love after becoming engaged to David. When she called her parents to tell them the good news, they were elated. At the end of the conversation, her mother said, "Darling, I want you to know we love you, and we love David."
Susan was a bit dubious. "Mom," she said hesitantly, "I really appreciate your feelings, but, in all honesty, how can you say you love someone you've never met?"
"We're choosing to love him," her mother explained, "because love is a choice."
There's no better wisdom Susan's mother could have imparted to her before marriage. By focusing on the good, you can love almost anyone.
Actions Affect Feelings
Now that you're feeling so warmly toward the entire human race, how can you deepen your love for someone? The way God created us, actions affect our feelings most. For example, if you want to become more compassionate, thinking compassionate thoughts may be a start, but giving tzedaka (charity) will get you there. Likewise, the best way to feel loving is to be loving ― and that means giving.
While most people believe love leads to giving, the truth (as Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler writes in his famous discourse on loving kindness) is exactly the opposite: Giving leads to love.
What is giving? When an enthusiastic handyman happily announces to his non- mechanically inclined wife, "Honey, wait till you see what I got you for your birthday ― a triple-decker toolbox!" that's not giving. Neither is a father's forcing violin lessons on his son because he himself always dreamed of being a virtuoso.
True giving, as Erich Fromm points out, is other-oriented, and requires four elements. The first is care, demonstrating active concern for the recipient's life and growth. The second is responsibility, responding to his or her expressed and unexpressed needs (particularly, in an adult relationship, emotional needs). The third is respect, "the ability to see a person as he [or she] is, to be aware of his [or her] unique individuality," and, consequently, wanting that person to "grow and unfold as he [or she] is."
These three components all depend upon the fourth, knowledge. You can care for, respond to, and respect another only as deeply as you know him or her.
Opening Yourself to Others
The effect of genuine, other-oriented giving is profound. It allows you into another person's world and opens you up to perceiving his or her goodness. At the same time, it means investing part of yourself in the other, enabling you to love this person as you love yourself.
The more you give, the more you love.
Many years ago, I met a woman whom I found very unpleasant. So I decided to try out the "giving leads to love" theory. One day I invited her for dinner. A few days later I offered to help her with a personal problem. On another occasion I read something she'd written and offered feedback and praise. Today we have a warm relationship. The more you give, the more you love. This is why your parents (who've given you more than you'll ever know) undoubtedly love you more than you love them, and you, in turn, will love your own children more than they'll love you.
Because deep, intimate love emanates from knowledge and giving, it comes not overnight but over time ― which nearly always means after marriage. The intensity many couples feel before marrying is usually great affection boosted by commonality, chemistry, and anticipation. These may be the seeds of love, but they have yet to sprout. On the wedding day, emotions run high, but true love should be at its lowest, because it will hopefully always be growing, as husband and wife give more and more to each other.

A woman I know once explained why she's been happily married for 25 years. "A relationship has its ups and downs," she told me. "The downs can be really low ― and when you're in one, you have three choices: Leave, stay in a loveless marriage, or choose to love your spouse."
Dr. Jill Murray (author of But I Love Him: Protecting Your Daughter from Controlling, Abusive Dating Relationships) writes that if someone mistreats you while professing to love you, remember: "Love is a behavior." A relationship thrives when partners are committed to behaving lovingly through continual, unconditional giving ― not only saying, "I love you," but showing it.

True Friendship- Inspiring Story

True Friendship- Inspiring Story

When I married Jenny, I gained her best friend Joy as well. Joy’s husband Carl and I became friends simply because we knew we couldn’t pry our wives apart. We went on double dates and spent vacations and holidays together. We were Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel. The girls were delighted when they became pregnant almost within a month of each other. Our two girls, Katie and Melissa, became inseparable as they grew up. Then one day, I arrived home from work to find a hurriedly scribbled note from my wife, “Munsons in a car accident. Melissa hurt badly.”
When Jenny came home that night, I held her while she cried. Together, we climbed into the little white bed that held our sleeping angel, and both of us took one of her hands in ours as we grieved for our friends’ loss. We grieved again when a year later, Carl and Joy divorced.

It was a little less than nine months after that when my own life was shattered in the garden department at Wal-Mart. Jenny and I were shopping for tomato seeds when she collapsed. I held her hand in the ambulance and then again until the long beep on the monitor told me she was gone. She never opened her eyes again. They told me it was a brain aneurysm. I couldn’t even spell what killed my wife.

For the next week, I was buried in casseroles. Katie and I spent our dinnertime silently poking our forks at mounds of green and gray that neither of us had the stomach to eat. At the funeral, Katie and I held hands as women who wore too much perfume cried over us and murmured, “You poor little things.”

Katie said that the room was too hot and the perfume stuck to her clothes. She said Mommy wouldn’t have liked it at all…and I agreed.

I saw Joy at the funeral, sitting by herself.

Weeks went by, and I was still holding my Jenny’s clothes up to my face at night to smell them. My daughter was still screaming whenever we came within the vicinity of Wal-Mart. I went back to work after leaving my crying, clinging daughter with a sitter. At night, I scorched dinners and left iron-shaped marks on the clothes. By the time school started, Katie and I were exhausted.

The first morning, I helped her pack her backpack, made a peanut butter sandwich (cut diagonally because that’s how Mommy did it), and helped her double-knot her sneakers. But when it came to her hair, that lovely mass of black curls, I was hopeless. I could see her disappointment as I did the best I could. Jenny could work wonders with it. When Katie had started second grade last year, Jenny had done up her hair in braids. I didn’t have the slightest idea how to do a braid.

“I’m sorry, baby,” I whispered as I kissed the back of her head. She shrugged, trying to look brave for the old dad. I placed my hands on her shoulders as I heard the doorbell ring.

“Joy!” I said in surprise as I opened the door.

“Hi John,” she said quietly. “I’m sorry to intrude. I just…I thought Katie might like some help getting ready for her first day of school.”

I honestly had to fight back tears as I nodded. She slipped in quietly, squeezing my arm as she made her way to Katie’s room. Katie was overjoyed to see her. I watched her hands shake slightly as she touched Katie’s hair. She closed her eyes as she ran her fingers through it, a smile crossing her features.

“Now,” she instructed. “Separate the hair into three parts and just go back and forth, overlapping each other…see?”

I leaned in and watched carefully as she skillfully weaved the long hair into a beautiful braid.

“Good?” she asked, holding up a mirror in the back so Katie could see.

Katie gazed up at her with adoration. “Just like Mommy.”

Joy put her arms around Katie and gave her a squeeze. “Have a good day, honey.”

When she was done, I walked with her to the door. “I can come,” she said. “In the morning, if you want, until you get the hang of it.”

“Thank you.”

“Don’t mention it,” she said, smiling.

“Joy?” I called after she left. “What made you come?”

Her face was full of peace. “Because wherever Jenny is, she’s taking care of my baby, too.”

Short moral story of True Friendship

Short moral story of True Friendship

Once upon a time, a lonely hawk lived on a tree by a riverside. He was young and handsome. Yet, he had no friends. One day, he saw a beautiful she-hawk sitting on a tree. He wanted to marry her. But, the she-hawk refused to marry him, as he had no friends. “Will you marry me if I make three friends?” he asked her. She said that she would definitely marry him if he made three friends.

The hawk then went looking for friends. While flying, he saw a tortoise. He lived on the other bank of the river. The hawk flew down to him and said, “Dear tortoise, will you be my friend and help me in my hour of need”. The tortoise agreed to become his friend and said, “Call me whenever you need me and I shall come to your side”.

The hawk also promised him his help at any time and then flew in search of the second friend. Soon, he came upon an osprey. The hawk went to it and asked her if she would be his friend and help him in time of his need. The osprey very gladly accepted his friendship and offered her help whenever he needed it. The hawk was glad that he had made two friends.

Now, he went in search of a third friend. He flew over the jungle and saw a tiger. Fearless as he was, he went near the tiger and requested him to be his friend. The tiger readily accepted his friendship. The tiger said, “From now onwards, I am your friend. Nobody will harm you. If anyone tries to harm you, call me and I will be there to help you”.

The hawk was very happy. He thanked the tiger and flew back to the she-hawk., “I have made three friends- a tortoise, an osprey and a tiger. Will you marry me now?” the she hawk agreed to marry him. Soon, their marriage took place. The three friends attended the hawk’s marriage.

After some-months, she-hawk gave birth to two baby hawks. The parent hawks were very happy to have cute little babies. They lived happily in their nest.

One day, two hunters came and sat under that tree. They were tired and hungry. They had not been able to hunt any animal. They decided to catch some fish. But, they couldn’t catch even a single fish.

It was getting dark and the hunters decided to spend the night under that tree. To keep themselves warm, they lit a fire. The fire soared high. The hawk- babies on the tree could not bear the heat and smoke coming out of the fire. They started crying. The Hunters heard their cries. One of them said,” There are birds on this tree. Let us catch them. We shall roast them on the fire and eat them”. The other one agreed.

The hawks heard them and were really worried about the safety of their babies. The she-hawk suggested that they seek help from their friends. The hawk went the Osprey and told her his problem. The Osprey said, “Go home and protect your babies. In the meantime, I shall tackle with the hunters”. The osprey divided into the river and then flew over the fire. The water from her wet feathers fell on the fire. She repeatedly dived into the river and flew over the fire. The water from her feathers put off the fire.

The hunters decided to light the fire again before getting the hawk babies. They started collecting the leaves and the twigs. However, as soon as they lit the fire again, the osprey put it off by diving into the river and letting the water from her feathers fall into the fire.

In the meantime, the hawk went to get help from the tortoise. When the tortoise heard about the hawk’s problem, he said to him, “Do not worry dear friend, I will be there in no time and tackle the hunters in my own way. In the meantime, go and protect your family”.

The hawk flew to the tree and the tortoise reached the tree. He went quite close to where the hunters were sitting and trying to light the fire again. The hunters saw the tortoise and one of them said, “Look there is a huge tortoise. Let’s forget about the hawks and catch this tortoise”.

The other hunter agreed and said, “Let’s tear our shirts and make a rope. We shall tie its one end to the tortoise and other to our waists. Then we will pull the tortoise with all our strength”. The other hunter liked the idea. Soon, they make a rope out of their shirts. They tied one end of the rope to the tortoise’s legs. Then, trying the other end to their waist, they could not pull the tortoise. The tortoise’s strength was much greater than the two hunters were together. It was tortoise who pulled the two men into the water.

Once, inside the water, it was very easy for the tortoise to drag them. Thus, the two hunters fell into the river. With great efforts, they cut the rope that was tied to their waist and swam back to the bank. They were now feeling very cold. They had lost their shirts. They thought of making a fire again.

Seeing those collecting leaves and twigs, the hawk was worried again. Now he flew to the forest and called his third friend, the tiger. He found the tiger at the edge of the forest. When the tiger heard the hawk’s problem, he immediately walked towards the riverbank.

The hunter had now lighted the fire and one of them was preparing to climb the tree to get the hawk babies. Just then, the tiger reached the tree. Seeing the tiger, the hunters ran from there and never came back again.

The hawk thanked all his three friends for their kind and timely help. He also realized that it is very important to have at least a few friends. The female-hawk had been very wise in advising the hawk to make friends before marrying him.

A short stury: True Friendship

True Friendship

This story is dedicated to all those who believe in friendship.

Once upon a time there lived two great friends in a hamlet near Jaipur. Jay and Vijay had been friends since their childhood. Now, they were studying in a college, which was at far distance from their place. In the way, they had to cross a river, pass hills and sandy area too. They used to go to college together. Their friendship was famous in college.

One rainy day the two friends set out for college as usual. They were chatting while walking. Perhaps they were discussing some point of atomic theory which was taught the previous day. The two had different opinions which led to heated arguments. This was followed by abusive language by both sides. Things got so bad that in a fit of anger Jay slapped Vijay. Shell shocked Vijay stared at his friend and wrote on sand that “today my best friend slapped me.” Both resumed their walk but now they were silent.

Meanwhile, they reached the river which was overflowing today. Vijay was not a good swimmer. He stepped into the river but began to drown and flow with force of water in the direction of the flood. Jay saw this and without thinking for a second jumped into the river. With difficulty he could drag Vijay out of the river. He helped Vijay restore his normal breath.

When Vijay became normal, he wrote on a hill that “today my best friend saved my life.” Jay who was observing all this could not help asking, “why did you write it on sand when I slapped you and why are you writing on the hill when I’ve saved your life?” Vijay replied that “we should soon forget wrong done by our friends and dear ones as writing on sand gets erased in no time, but if they do something good for us we should always remember their kindness just as writing on stones is forever.” Saying this Vijay hugged his friends and two went to college as if nothing had happened.

A Super and True Love Story

The author of two critically acclaimed novels, The Russian Debutante’s Handbook and Absurdistan, Gary Shteyngart has risen to the top of the fiction world. Now, in his hilarious and heartfelt new novel, he envisions a deliciously dark tale of America’s dysfunctional coming years—and the timeless and tender feelings that just might bring us back from the brink.

In a very near future—oh, let’s say next Tuesday—a functionally illiterate America is about to collapse. But don’t that tell that to poor Lenny Abramov, the thirty-nine-year-old son of an angry Russian immigrant janitor, proud author of what may well be the world’s last diary, and less-proud owner of a bald spot shaped like the great state of Ohio. Despite his job at an outfit called Post-Human Services, which attempts to provide immortality for its super-rich clientele, death is clearly stalking this cholesterol-rich morsel of a man. And why shouldn’t it? Lenny’s from a different century—he totally loves books (or “printed, bound media artifacts,” as they’re now known), even though most of his peers find them smelly and annoying. But even more than books, Lenny loves Eunice Park, an impossibly cute and impossibly cruel twenty-four-year-old Korean American woman who just graduated from Elderbird College with a major in Images and a minor in Assertiveness.

After meeting Lenny on an extended Roman holiday, blistering Eunice puts that Assertiveness minor to work, teaching our “ancient dork” effective new ways to brush his teeth and making him buy a cottony nonflammable wardrobe. But America proves less flame-resistant than Lenny’s new threads. The country is crushed by a credit crisis, riots break out in New York’s Central Park, the city’s streets are lined with National Guard tanks on every corner, the dollar is so over, and our patient Chinese creditors may just be ready to foreclose on the whole mess. Undeterred, Lenny vows to love both Eunice and his homeland. He’s going to convince his fickle new love that in a time without standards or stability, in a world where single people can determine a dating prospect’s “hotness” and “sustainability” with the click of a button, in a society where the privileged may live forever but the unfortunate will die all too soon, there is still value in being a real human being.

Wildly funny, rich, and humane, Super Sad True Love Story is a knockout novel by a young master, a book in which falling in love just may redeem a planet falling apart.

A True Love Story

Have you ever done something without understanding, but out of obedience?
I did, it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving 1973. If you knew me back then you’d know I wasn’t one of the ‘popular’ kids in school. In fact, most of my classmates didn’t know my name. Very few took the time to get to know why I was quiet, insecure, and shy.

On that particular Saturday, I received an invitation to a party. It was from a young man who graduated earlier in the year, the high school quarterback. He wasn’t a friend though I knew who he was. I questioned why he invited me to a gathering at his home when he was accustomed to being with only the popular girls. Don’t get me wrong, I was seventeen and delighted to receive attention from this boy until … I accepted his invitation and he tried what eighteen year old boys’ try.

It wasn’t until after he picked me up and we arrived at his house did I find out we were alone, his parents were out of town for the holiday. I became nervous and wondered why I had a strong feeling I was still supposed to be there. I couldn’t figure out why God would allow me to be in such an uncomfortable situation. Relief came soon when his friends started to arrive. Since I wouldn’t submit to his ‘attention’ he then focused on his friends and ignored me the rest of the evening. Nice guy, huh?

Then it happened, my reason for being there. The front door opened and in walked the man of my dreams. Do you believe in love at first sight? I didn’t until this tall, dark haired guy dressed in ratty jeans with the silliest denim hat I’d ever seen walked through the door. I asked who he was, no one knew. I replied, “I’d better find out because I’m going to marry him someday.” This was a pretty bold statement for a shy teenager. We began talking, he took me home that evening, and the rest as they say is history.

Isaiah 30:21(NIV) tells us your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it …’ though I was young; I was obedient to the Lord and walked in the way he instructed. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t soon be celebrating number thirty-six wedding anniversary with my life mate, the father of our two children and grandfather to four precious grand babies.

My friend, this is testimony to listening to our Father God when He speaks to us. We were destined to be husband and wife. After we dated for awhile, I discovered my mother lived in the home in which he grew up. I remember her driving my grandma and I by his house when I was young and children playing in the yard. Who would know that I’d grow up to marry one of those kids … God did.
We went to the same high school; I dated some of his friends, but never met him. Who would know we’d meet at a party after he graduated and moved out of town … God did.

His parents were friends with the beautiful people that were my foster parents. Because of that friendship, I was able to re-connect with their family. Who else would know about that relationship … God did.

I tell you to trust, not a little bit but with your whole heart. Proverbs 3:5(NIV) says to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

I thank my Heavenly Father daily for the path He has lead me to walk. Though I don’t always understand where I’m going and ask why, I trust Him and understand He loves me. He’s using me as an earthly vessel for what is good and righteous in His name.

That Saturday night way back when I didn’t understand, but I had faith and trust which led me on a path to joy and happiness.

I encourage you today; take some time to reflect on your obedience to your Lord God Almighty.

Heart Touching True Love Story
Heart Touching True Love Story

There was a Boy and a Girl,
They were best friends for years and years,
They could Talk for hours on the Phone and text each other for days,
When They were Together;
Not a single Sad Thought could cross their Minds,
everything was Great, But One Day;

The Boy did not Answer any Call or Reply to any Text for a Day,
The Girl was worried that something was Wrong..
at night She couldn’t Sleep.., She was sitting in her Room Crying,
and It was then that She Realized how much He Means to Her..?

The next Morning;
She woke Up from a Phone call.., It was the Boy..:)

Boy : Hey..,
Girl : I am so glad that you Called Me, What happened to you yesterday ??
Boy : I was Busy
[ The GIRL Understood that;
Something was Wrong but could not Ask]

[silence]

Boy : You know..; We should Stop talking..!
Girl: What??.., But Why ??
Boy: I am Sorry, Bye..!

[He Disconnected the call, and She Felt as If Somebody
had Slammed the door on Her face]

Everything else Flashed in Her Mind,
Tears :
Cars running by Her..
Roof of some building..and Sunset..
She couldn’t understand anything..
She started Feeling Lonely, rejected, and broken..:’(

That was the answer to everything! His words were pouncing on her..
Her heart wanted to jump out!

He was the One..! “Why..??”
She Screamed at the Top of her Voice;
Then She made up Her Mind to make a last Try to get Him Back..!

[She called Him Up]
Girl: hi…
Boy: Why are you calling Me?
Girl: I need to tell you Something..
Boy: Go Ahead.
Girl: I Just Wanted You to know one thing before we stopped talking!
Boy: Tell me..!

Girl: Are you All right?
[She broke off..!
She tried but may be he doesn't really Care about Her,
She Thought!
She wasn't His friend in the first Place...
Tears were slowly running Worst :'(
She left the House with a Note..!

[5 hours later]

Phone Rang in the Boy’s Room,
It was the Girl’s Mum,
The girl was lying in the hospital, Got hit by a Car, :’(
The Boy rushed to the Hospital where She was.

She Opened Her Eyes with the Boy’s name..,
He took her Hand..

Boy: I am so Sorry Its all my fault..! But;
I promise when U get better I’ll make It up to You..:(

Girl: I wont get Better..
Boy: No..! No Don’t say that..:(
Girl: just tell me one thing Why did you do it?

Boy told her that He had a Heart problem ‘n
he did not want her to be worried;
‘n there was a risk that he could have Died..!

Boy: I did that because I…..I…..I Love you..?
Girl : I LOVE YOU TOO..? and After That her heart Stopped Beating… She Died..!
The Boy died 10 min's later from a Heart Attack..

He could not live with the thought that She died Because of Him..

-Moral:
If You Love Someone…;
Then Don’t Hold Back Your Feelings…
because Love is The Reason to Live..!
Love is Beautiful..? !
